now that the word that the jury has recommended the dealth penalty for scott peterson is out, it might be interesting to note that 9 out of the 12 jurors are catholic; so is the judge, as well as the attorneys for the prosecution and the defense. here's an article that mentions this fact. apparently here's another indication that with this and other catholic social teachings, the rank and file catholics out there indeed "pick and choose."
